My Desk – Show Me Yours

My previous post celebrated “the desk” by focusing on a video underscoring the enduring presence of “our desk” in day-to-day life.
My friend Alexander Grgurich asked, “what does Mike Wagner’s desk look like?” Good question!
Here’s an “untouched” photo from last night. Look closely. You’ll get all kinds of clues regarding how I “go deep” in my studies, research and learning.
You’ll see some “old school tools” for the deep dive like books and even a cassette player.
And you’ll see some “new school tools” like an iPod Nano along with a digital camera.
Here’s my challenge to you dear reader; show me your desk! Email me a photo and I’ll do my best to put it up here.
Together we will all get a glimpse of the many places we create for reflection and depth of thought.
Don’t be shy, send me your desk pictures. The more the better.
NOTE: talking about “going deep” look for The Shallows on my desk!

A very wise personal branding expert once told me that everything reflects your brand including/especially your desk. So no, I’m not sending you photos…I’m spending this time organizing it instead. Thanks for the tips…even when I forget to follow them

Delaney – great connection between one’s desk and one’s brand. Maybe our desk is the place where our brands are birthed?
But then again, when you live in Florida, do you really need a desk?
